Police in Nashville are investigating the fatal shooting of a man outside an apartment complex on Creekwood Drive in north Nashville, just west of Interstate 65. Metro police said 23-year-old Clenton Giles II drove to the Knoll Crest Apartments Sunday evening with three other men after he reportedly told them he had to run an errand. Giles walked into the breezeway of building X when gunfire erupted at 6:30 p.m. Police said Giles, who was armed with a handgun, was pronounced dead at the scene.
