 Metro police need help solving a murder case at an apartment complex in East Nashville. The man was killed during a fight in broad daylight. Someone may be able to identify the suspect because he was hurt in the  fight.Antoni Morton was shot and killed at the Berkshire Apartments at 1500 Porter Road. He lived in Building Y with his girlfriend."It is believed that he went into the apartment, was there for a few minutes and then upon leaving was possibly confronted by the suspect," said Metro detective Jeannine Hale.Police say a short time later Morton's girlfriend heard a gunshot and opened the door.She saw Morton and another man fighting in the breezeway. Witnesses overheard him say call the police. I'm being robbed," Hale  said. Police said Morton's girlfriend slammed the door and called 911.When officers arrived they found Morton bleeding from a gunshot wound. Paramedics rushed him to a nearby hospital where he died.Witnesses told police they saw the gunman jump into a small, black, two-door car. A man was driving."We're not sure exactly what his  involvement was or if he was even aware that a robbery had taken place," Hale  said. So, police are hoping he'll come forward. Police said the suspect  was hurt in the fight.  He had a large bump on his forehead. Police said  it's important to get this man off the street. "He got into an
altercation, fired a weapon," Hale said. "He's killed an individual someone has
died at his hands and he needs to be brought in."
