Police have identified the man who was found shot to death at an Antioch apartment complex on Wednesday night.Calvin Davis, 27, was found on a sidewalk at the Noah's Landing apartment complex around 10:45 p.m. Detectives believe Davis met at least two men in a breezeway, and a confrontation took place. Several shots were fired; Davis was hit and ran to a sidewalk where he collapsed and died. Police said they found a
pistol next to Davis' body, and a bag of marijuana was found in the breezeway.
Police were working to identify the men who met with Davis late Wednesday. "Again, at this point, what we really need is help from citizens. If they saw anything like so many times citizens give us that information that leads to the arrest of the suspect that caused this crime tonight," said Metro Police captain Ken Walburn.
Davis was the father of three small children, a student at ITT Tech, and worked full time at a warehouse.
