South Precinct detectives late Thursday night arrested 18-year-old Montavis
Woodard for Monday night’s murder of Ron Christopher Poullard at Poullard’s 308 Plus Park Boulevard apartment.
Investigation by Detectives Corey Wall
and Derry Baltimore led to the identification of Woodard, who lives on Pennock Avenue, as a suspect. During an interview last night, Woodard admitted that he participated in a burglary of Poullard’s apartment to find illegal drugs. Poullard came home and exchanged shots with one of the burglars. Poullard was hit in the abdomen and died at the scene.
